How we make money
We sell our own digital guides and earn some affiliate commission. Here's exactly how — and why it doesn't change what we tell you.
Our own products
We sell our own digital products — currently Seconds to Hours, a home plan for dogs with separation anxiety. When you buy, payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record and handles sales tax. Our products are clearly labeled as ours.
Affiliate links
Some links on our mobility pages may be affiliate links. If you buy through one, the retailer pays us a percentage of the sale at no extra cost to you. We also run an affiliate program for rescues, professionals and creators who recommend our products; those partners must disclose it.
Why that doesn’t change our advice
Our entire position is that we tell you things sellers won’t: that the evidence on knee braces is mixed, that most calming products are unlikely to fix separation anxiety on their own, that some dogs need a vet or behaviorist before any home plan. If we traded that for commission, we’d just be another shop.
So when we tell you not to buy something — including, sometimes, our own product — that isn’t modesty. It’s the product.
What we will not do
- Take payment for a favorable review.
- Publish sponsored content without labeling it.
- Publish fake reviews or AI-generated testimonials.
- Run display advertising on clinical pages.
